- 1 cup paneer ,cubed
- 3 cardamom pods , form Whole Spices
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1½ cups frozen peas
- 1 medium onion , finely chopped
- ¼ cup ground tomatoes
- 1 tsp sea salt OR salt to taste
- 1½ tbsp Curry Masala
- 1 tsp sugar
- 4-6 Curry Leaves
- 1 cup light cream
- ¼ ground almonds
- 1 tbsp chopped cilantro , to garnish
- ½ tsp Garam Masala , to garinsh
Method of Preparation:
In a pan, heat oil on medium heat . Add cardamom pods and Curry Leaves and fry for 1 minute. Gather oinons and fry until caramelized, approximately 10 minutes.Compile ground tomatoes and fry for 2-3 minutes. Affix Curry Masala, salt and s
ugar. Stir and fry masala paste for 2-3 minutes. Add peas and cubed paneer and mix well.
Add cream and ground almonds and stir. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the sauce has thickened. Add half a cup of water. Simmer for another 8-10 minutes. This dish should have a thick creamy sauce.
Garnish with cilantro and Garam Masala. Serve with Indian flatbreads and rice.
